Q: What is the cost of renting a margarita machine from Margarita Planet?
A: Rental prices start at $99.00 to $109.00, depending on the date or if it is a holiday. This includes delivery (if the venue is within our free delivery area), set up, a bottle of drink mix flavor of your choice, two pre marked mixing jugs, a roller cart to place the machine on, cups and straws, and next day pickup.
Q: Are the margarita machines very easy to use?
A: indeed they they are! Our delivery technician will mix your first drink batch and instruct you on how to use the machine properly upon delivery. We always leave clear printed instructions, and offer an after hour cell phone number. No ice is ever needed - the machines freeze your drinks for you!
Q: How long does a typical batch take to freeze?
A: It usually takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour if the machine is indoors (75 to 78 degrees F); This may be much longer if in the heat of the outdoors (temperature dependant). These machines will operate outside in the shade, but function best indoors.
Q: How far in advance of an event should a margarita machine be reserved?
A: We recommend you reserve your machine at least two to three weeks for a Saturday or holiday rental. If you are thinking of using a margarita machine for your wedding, you may even consider ordering it one to two months in advance just to be sure.
Q: What do I need to have ready for your margarita machine delivery?
A: When your machine is delivered, the delivery technician will need to meet with someone who will be responsible for the operation of the machine and to sign the rental contract. There will also need to be access to a 115V AC outlet on a dedicated circuit. Finally, the delivery technician will need the alcohol required for your first batch. Our delivery technician will set up your machine, check it for proper functionality, and mix your first batch.

Q: How many servings are in a typical margarita planet machine batch?
A: One batch of frozen drinks makes approximately 55 to 60 eight ounce drinks. In or experience, on average, 50% of guests will opt to drink the frozen drinks, even if other beverage choices are offered in addition to the frozen drinks. We recommend at least one batch for every 25 guests. Most of our machines are available in two-bowl configurations and can serve two batches at the same time. Extra drink mixes are just $17.00 each and are refundable if returned unopened.

Q: Who provides the alcohol and how much will I need?
A: You (the customer) must provide any and all alcohol. A typical batch of our margaritas calls for about 1.75 liters of tequila and 1 liter triple sec. Most other flavors use 1.75 liters of alcohol per batch. Drinks may be mixed stronger or weaker to taste.
